Man wanted in connection with market stall theft


A NUMBER of necklaces were stolen when a thief targeted a market stall in St Albans.

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after the theft on Saturday June 23 at around 12.50pm.

A man took a case containing the jewellery from the stall on Market Place and then ran from the scene. The stallholder chased after the thief along Waddington Road but he got away.

Anyone with information should contact the police on the non-emergency number 101.
