Appeal for witnesses after St Albans bar brawl

A woman was allegedly smashed in the face with a glass at a St Albans pub last night.

Police are investigating reports that an argument broke out outside The Snug at about 7.30pm yesterday.

It is alleged that several customers were involved in the brawl and a woman in her 20s was assaulted. She had minor facial injuries.

A 46-year-old St Albans woman has been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.
