PUBLISHED: 13:00 17 November 2011

A 35-YEAR-OLD man required hospital treatment after he was attacked in Sandridge on Sunday (November 13).

He suffered facial injuries after he was punched to the head and kicked at around 3pm in House Lane near the Rose and Crown pub.

Two men, 24 and 18 years old, and both from Sandridge, have been arrested and questioned on suspicion of Actual Bodily Harm and are currently on police bail.

It is thought that some people stopped during the assault and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything or has any information to contact them on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
