An appeal for witnesses has been made after a man was allegedly assaulted outside Batchwood nightclub on Saturday, February 4.

The assault is believed to have taken place between 2am and 2.15am outside the St Albans club.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was found by a member of the public lying on Batchwood’s driveway. One of his front teeth was missing.

PC James McLean said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the assault on the driveway, or saw the victim laying on the floor, to contact me via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference F2/17/240.”
