POLICE are conducting regular patrols of a green space close to the centre of St Albans after recently receiving a report of a man allegedly behaving in an indecent manner.
According to a police spokesman, the man was reported to have been seen at Bernard’s Heath at 4.30pm on Tuesday April 23.
He said: “The man was seen by a group of teenage girls who were walking past, however he did not approach the group and it is believed he was not targeting them in particular.”
While there was no further information available, he said anyone with concerns in relation to the incident should contact the St Albans Safer Neighbourhood Team on police non-emergency number 101 or, if they believe a crime is in progress, call 999 immediately.
