A TEENAGE pedestrian has been taken to hospital with possible head injuries after being involved in a collision with a car this afternoon.
Police said the 18-year-old from Harpenden appears to have been crossing Lattimore Road at the junction with London Road when the accident involving a green Rover happened at around 1.40pm.
The road was closed while emergency services were on the scene but it has just been reopened.
Paramedics have taken the pedestrian to the QE2 Hospital in Welwyn Garden City with possible head injuries.
