A pedestrian hurt in a collision with a car in Radlett last night (Tuesday) was taken to Watford General Hospital for further care.

Herts Police and the East of England Ambulance Service Trust were called to the scene of the low speed collision on Watling Street, at 6.36pm.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, collided with the front windscreen of the vehicle, according to a police spokeswoman.

Although he did not lose consciousness, the man suffered a minor injury to his hand.

An ambulance and two rapid response vehicles attended and treated the pedestrian at the scene, and he was taken to Watford hospital for further care.
