THERAPY centres run by a national charity are to benefit from being nominated by a St Albans employee of a national company.

Pauline Stokley, who is PA to the managing director of Miller Homes, Northern Home Counties, nominated Multiple Sclerosis National Therapy Centres after experiencing the illness within her family.

She was one of the company's 2,000 employees throughout the UK who were given the opportunity to suggest worthwhile causes to be granted lead charity status for the coming year and receive a £5,000 donation through The Miller Group's charitable-giving framework m'brace, as well as additional funds raised by staff.

MS National Therapy Centres is a group of self-help centres offering assistance to thousands of people with multiple sclerosis through a wide range of drug-free, symptom-management therapies as well as advice and support for those with the illness and their families.

Pauline said: "The charity is very important to me and offers extremely valuable alternative therapies and support.
