Part of man's ear bitten off

POLICE are looking for information about an incident in which part of a man s ear was bitten off during an incident outside a pub. The 56-year-old victim from St Albans was attacked outside the Great Northern pub in London Road at around 9pm on Thursday,

POLICE are looking for information about an incident in which part of a man's ear was bitten off during an incident outside a pub.

The 56-year-old victim from St Albans was attacked outside the Great Northern pub in London Road at around 9pm on Thursday, June 19.

He was taken to Hemel Hempstead Hospital following the incident and has since required further treatment for his injury.

A 36-year-old man from St Albans was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following the incident and was police bailed until mid-August.

Police are urging anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
