A section of the Alban Way, a popular thoroughfare in St Albans, will be closed next week.
The stretch between the entrance to Morrisons car park and Sutton Road will be shut from Monday, October 2 for ten days.
This is so fencing between the Alban Way and a mobile home park can be replaced.
Signs have been placed near to the section to alert users of its closure.
The Alban Way is a trail of approximately 6.5 miles along the former railway line between St Albans and Hatfield, and forms part of Route 61 of the National Cycle Network.
