Children at Park Street JMI School designed and created special maths hats which they wore for the day.
The pupils also took part in maths activities and each of them donated �1 to the Toybox Charity, through which the school sponsors two street children in Guatemala City.
They were united in numbers with well over 100,000 students from 235 countries across the globe taking part in World Maths Day.
