A JACK-knifed lorry caused chaos today when both lanes of a busy dual-carriageway had to be closed.
The eastbound carriageway of the A414 between London Colney and Hatfield, where the accident happened at around 5am, remained closed this afternoon.
The Tesco lorry overturned by the Smallford roundabout but the driver only sustained minor injuries.
The westbound carriageway was closed at around 7.45am for a crane to be brought in to lift the lorry back onto its wheels. It wasn't reopened until 1pm.
Another Tesco lorry was also called in to offload the crates from the crashed vehicle and take them away.
