THE M1 motorway northbound at Bricket Wood will be closed overnight tomorrow (Friday) while a new contraflow system is installed.
The section of road between Junction 6 Bricket Wood and 6A the M25 will be closed from 10pm tomorrow until 5am on Saturday morning.
The contraflow is part of the ongoing M1 widening scheme and traffic will be diverted at Junction 6 via the A405 and the M10 to rejoin the M1 at Junction 7.
The M25 clockwise access to the northbound M1 will also be closed with a diversion route taking drivers via junction 21A of the M25 then the A405 and the M10 rejoining the M1 at Junction 7.
