JUBILANT students at Beaumont School in St Albans are pictured celebrating their A-level results.

Many students had already checked on the UCAS website in the early hours of Thursday morning to find their place confirmed at university.

Head teacher Elizabeth Hitch congratulated them all ad said: "This is another hugely successful year of outstanding results for Beaumont. We had a 100 per cent pass rate with success for students at all levels.

"Five students have places at Oxbridge including two through the IB and every single student deserves to be congratulated on their individual attainment.
