A suicide prevention charity is launching a film campaign to raise awareness of mental health issues in young people.
The OLLIE Foundation (One Life Lost Is Enough) is launching the campaign as part of the #ItMatters initiative, which is run entirely by young volunteers.
The first video, #OneLifeLost, which is part of a series on mental health and suicide awareness, will be released early next month.
Writer and producer Archuna Ananthamohan said: ““While volunteering for OLLIE, I felt that young people needed to harness the power of social media and film to persuade more people to take action.
“I made use of the National Youth Theatre members’ network to meet and work with fellow members to turn this goal into a reality.”
The team has worked closely with the OLLIE Foundation to ensure the topic of suicide is explored in an appropriate manner.
The film will be released on OLLIE’s social media on Monday, May 7.
