A RECENTLY-built garden wall has been pushed over in front of a St Albans home, causing considerable expense to an elderly resident, according to police.
A spokesman said that police are appealing for witnesses and information following damage to the newly built wall, which is believed to have been pushed over in the front garden of a High Oaks home sometime between 6pm and 7pm on Wednesday March 6.
Pc Barry Eldridge, St Albans Police, said: “The wall had been built earlier that day so the mortar had not yet had time to set properly.
“We believe it may have been deliberately pushed over causing considerable expense to the elderly victim.”
Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
