A charity children’s home for youngsters with autism or learning disabilities is set to open in St Albans.
Four children will live permanently at the Wychlands Crescent house and there will also be space for emergency short-term placements.
It will be opened in Autumn this year by MacIntyre, a charity which support 1,500 children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism in England and Wales.
The charity’s alternative education provision is called No Limits.
Head of No Limits, Maria Fiddimore, said: “We are really excited to be awarded this new contract.
“This new project sits extremely well with our expertise and experience and complements our other areas of support we have in and around Hertfordshire.”
The St Albans home will be called Woodland View.
