Littleport Rotary Club appointed a new president this week when Major Bram Holland took over from outgoing Tony Winchester.
Major Holland is well known within Littleport as leader of the Salvation Army team based in City Road and also with his responsibility in managing the local Foodbank. During his term in office he will ensure the club continues to support causes within the village, as well as their two main beneficiaries, East Anglian Air Ambulance and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
Littleport Rotary Club meets every Thursday at the Fen House restaurant and currently has 22 members. Almost 75 per cent of its members are business owners or in employment with a wide range of backgrounds.
New members are always welcome so if you are interested in joining, visit the club’s web site for further details – www.littleportrotary.org.uk
