New Harpenden Town Mayor revealed

The current deputy mayor of Harpenden is taking over the top job as part of a mayoral merry-go-round. Town and district councillor Daniel Chichester-Miles will replace Rosemary Farmer after the nomination was agreed by the council at its meeting last week

The current deputy mayor of Harpenden is taking over the top job as part of a mayoral merry-go-round.

Town and district councillor Daniel Chichester-Miles will replace Rosemary Farmer after the nomination was agreed by the council at its meeting last week.

And completing the merry-go-round former mayor, Cllr Pat Kent, was also nominated as deputy town mayor.

Both will be officially elected at the annual meeting in Park Hall at 7.30pm on May 17.
