New video footage of the St Albans sinkhole, which shows it being filled with concrete via a 30 metre tube, has been released by Hertfordshire county council a day after it sank into the ground.
The council have began pouring tons of “foamed concrete” into the sinkhole in an effort to sure up the crumbling walls - an operation which is likely to take a number of days and provide the strength needed to prevent further collapse.
