Young musicians entertained delighted residents at a St Albans care home when it held an open day.
Clare Lodge in Battlefield Road held a series of events to mark National Care Home Day including a talent show featuring Morgan Matthews, seven, playing the ukelele and Beverley Ramsey, eight, on the recorder.
Staff at the care home laid on games, balloons, tea and cakes for residents as well as a visit from an icecream van. Four volunteers from Boots visited to give pampering sessions and in the evening, residents were entertained by Elvis Bob.
The 24 residents at the care home are aged between 90 and 103.
