A mugging victim managed to get her handbag back after a mugger attacked her and stole the bag.
The woman, aged in her 50s, was walking through Lamb Alley at around 7.10pm yesterday when she was hit in the back of her head and her handbag was stolen from her.
She chased after the mugger and retrieved the bag.
• A 39-year-old woman from Hatfield has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in police custody at this time.
