MOTORISTS travelling to St Albans from the Hatfield area are being warned to leave extra time for their journeys if they need to pass through Comet Way in Hatfield.
Work starts there on Thursday, April 2, and will involve gas company National Grid installing a new pipe across the carriageway.
Single-lane closures will be in place with a 30mph speed limit imposed from the junction of Comet Way, Harpsfield Broadway and the Odeon cinema and Galleria car park entrance to the Comet Way/St Albans Road West/Cavendish Way roundabout.
