A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital today (Monday) following a crash in Redbourn.
A man in his 40s sustained serious leg and pelvic injuries when he collided with a Honda CR-V Sport on his silver Kawasaki motorbike in Harpenden Lane at about 9am.
He was taken to the Royal London Hospital via air ambulance and police closed the road at the junction with Dunstable Road for about two hours.
The driver of the Honda was uninjured. Both vehicles were recovered by police.
Following the incident there is said to be extra traffic delays in the area.
