A MOTORBIKE was torched and dumped on a local golf course over the weekend.

Firefighters were called to Toulmin Drive in St Albans, which backs onto Batchwood Golf Course, at around 7.45pm on Sunday night.

At least six other vehicles have been dumped and set alight in the area since March and police have recently stepped up their patrols in response to the problem.
