A replica Princess Diana engagement ring and man’s wristwatch were among items stolen from a St Albans house while its owners were away, in a break-in causing more than £1,500 of damage.
The break-in took place at a house in Woodstock Road North between Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 22.
Thieves forced open a window at the back of the property before stealing a number of items including a man’s Sekonda wristwatch and the replica engagement ring.
The ring is silver with a large, oval faux sapphire stone, which is surrounded by diamonds in a flower design.
