There are more £1 million plus homes in St Albans than the whole of Scotland and Wales put together, according to reports issued today (Fri).

In the first half of 2014, 66 £1 million pads exchanged hands, compared to 43 in Scotland, and seven in Wales.

A report issued by Lloyds bank shows there were 46 per cent more homes sold for at least £1 million in the first half of 2014 than in the same period last year.

This marks a property turnaround, as the same time period in 2009 saw 1,382 £1 million plus homes sold, compared to 6,143 this year.
