YOUNG model rail enthusiasts are expected to pour into Harpenden Public Halls tomorrow (Saturday) for an annual model railway exhibition.

Brambleton Model Railway Club is holding the event from 10.30am to 5.30pm with a dozen layouts in popular gauges from Z to O and as many points between as possible.

The show will feature trade support as well as attendance from preservation societies, Camelot Locomotive Society and the Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway.

Proceeds from the exhibition will be ploughed back into the Brambleton club to keep it running for another year and fund the next phase of its expansion programme for its 16mm garden line in Harpenden.

Admission is £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children and senior citizens. Refreshments will be available on the day.
