Three large radio controlled model planes are among items stolen during a burglary in St Albans, where thieves gained access to the rear garden.

Herts Police are investigating the burglary which occurred between 10am Tuesday February 25 and 7.30am Wednesday February 26 at Hill End Lane.

A police spokesman said the thieves gained access to the rear garden by climbing over a fence.

They then allegedly forced entry to a shed and stole an orange Paslode nail gun, blue Makita drill, silver Kango concrete breaker, and the three model aircraft.

PC Hussain Skoien, investigating, said: “The items stolen in this burglary are very distinctive, particularly the model aircraft.”
