This is the third year Stockwood Festival has set up camp near Jersey Farm park, St Albans - it started out as a gathering of close family and friends, but has expanded to a whole local community.

Festival-goers enjoyed a bonfire, a marquee, a large outside game of twister, a licenced bar with cheap draught beer, and a barbecue.

The line-up included Herts based covers band The Natalies, DJ Nathan Greaves, and house DJs from organisers Oli Bates, George Bates, and Michael Foley.

Oli said he cannot wait for next year, which is going to be bigger and better: “It went really well. It was the first time the event was open to the public. Everyone had a great time and the reviews have been really good.

“People especially liked the band and the fact they could sit and chill by a fire.”
