ALL of the district's residents are invited to join the Mayor for his Civic Service at St Albans Abbey this weekend.
Mayor of St Albans, Cllr Chris Oxley, is holding the event between 10.45am and 11.15am on Sunday. It will be in keeping with his theme for the year - 'Your Community - Our Community.'
A district council spokesperson said: "He wishes to celebrate the enormous, positive impact that the army of unsung heroes - the volunteers, organisers and helpers - have in making the community of the city and district such a desirable place to live, learn and work, as well as to visit."
