A MINI golfer from Markyate lived the dream when he played 18 holes with his golfing hero Lee Westwood.
Nine-year-old Harry Bigham, of Farrer Top in Markyate, spent his summer at a Lee Westwood golfing academy in Stevenage and, after winning a number of driving, pitching and putting challenges, he was awarded top prize of a masterclass with the English golfer.
The lesson, which took place at the Lindrick Golf Club in Nottinghamshire, lasted all day and Harry, who has been a keen golf player from a very young age, spent the time picking up top tips from Lee.
Lee said he enjoyed the day as well: "It's been a busy summer for me and the academy and finals day at Lindrick has been a particular highlight. I was impressed by every finalist and hopefully the day helped to improve all of them!
