A MAN visiting St Albans from Somerset was taken to Watford Hospital following a collision with a motorcycle today, Friday, in the city centre.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was struck at about 2.50pm while crossing Chequer Street, outside Lloyds TSB.
A spokeswoman for Herts Police said he was taken to Watford Hospital with slight injuries as a precaution.
Chequer Street was temporarily closed between its junctions with Victoria Street and High Street while police and ambulance crews attended the incident.
