Man left unconscious after assault outside St Albans nightclub

POLICE are looking for witnesses to an assault in St Albans which left a 21-year-old man unconscious. It happened in the beer garden of Batchwood Nightclub between 12.45pm and 1pm on Saturday, July 27. A dispute broke out between three men which resulted

POLICE are looking for witnesses to an alleged assault in St Albans which left a 21-year-old man unconscious.

It happened in the beer garden of Batchwood Nightclub between 12.45pm and 1pm on Saturday, July 25.

A dispute broke out between three men which allegedly resulted in the victim being pushed to the ground by one of his attackers and assaulted again while he was lying there by the other.

A 21-year-old man from London Colney and a 26-year-old man from Borehamwood have been arrested in connection with the incident and bailed to appeal at Hatfield Police Station later this month.

But police are asking anyone who saw the assault or has any information to contact Pc Wade on 0845 33 00 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
