A MAN was left unconscious in the middle of the street last Sunday (23) after he was assaulted on a busy St Albans road. The 47-year-old victim, who is from St Albans, was struck in the face following an argument with another man at around 8pm in London R

A MAN was left unconscious in the middle of the street last Sunday (23) after he was assaulted on a busy St Albans road.

The 47-year-old victim, who is from St Albans, was struck in the face following an argument with another man at around 8pm in London Road.

His attacker fled the scene and police are currently studying CCTV footage to try and indentify him.
