A man was allegedly threatened with a knife in broad daylight in a busy St Albans street during rush hour.
A spokeswoman for Herts Police confirmed the force received a call following concerns about a man who was believed to be carrying a knife in the Hatfield Road area of St Albans just after 6pm on Tuesday, June 2.
An altercation is believed to have occurred afterwards between the man and members of the public, resulting in one man receiving a minor cut to his chest.
Anthony Zambra, 38, of Watford Road in St Albans was charged with GBH, threats to kill and possession of a knife.
He was remanded and appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Thursday, June 4 and was due to appear at St Albans Crown Court today (Thursday, June 18).
