A man had to be rescued by a hazardous area response team (HART) after he collapsed on the second floor of a building site yesterday (Monday).
The man, thought to be a builder in his 30s, collapsed at about 8am on the second floor of a building at the London Road development.
An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and the HART accompanied the fire service to site where an aerial ladder appliance was used to lift the patient to safety.
He was then taken to hospital.
