A man was fined more than £600 for driving at 118mph on the M1 near St Albans.
David Nembhard, 29, of Marble Drive, Barnet, was driving a BMW on the M1 at Junction 8 for St Albans on October 19 last year.
His speed, recorded by a follow check, was an average of 118mph.
He appeared at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on September 3 this year, charged with driving at a speed exceeding 70mph.
Nembhard was fined £660, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and additional costs of £85. He also received six penalty points on his license.
