AN air ambulance was called to Shenley this morning (Thursday) after a man fell through a stable roof.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance, based at Cambridge Airport, was alerted at around 10.45am and landed in a field next to the stable yard.
On arrival the paramedic team administered pain relief and assisted the land ambulance crew in moving the 47-year-old man out of the stable.
He was taken to Barnet Hospital by land ambulance for further assessment and treatment to possible back and hip injuries.
