Man dies in crash on M25 near St Albans

A 37 year old man has died after colliding with a barrier on the M25 this morning (Monday).

Herts Police are appealing for information from motorists who witnessed the crash, which happened at about 6.30am on the westbound carriageway between junctions 22 and 21.

A spokeswoman for the police said that the man was driving a black VW Passat when, for reasons unknown at this stage, he collided with the barrier.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who has information about the collision.
