A man in his 50s has died after suffering a suspected heart attack in Harpenden this morning (Friday).
A spokesman for East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust confirmed that a rapid response car, an ambulance and an air ambulance were called to Salisbury Road in Batford at 10.48am to reports of a man suffering a cardiac arrest.
He confirmed that “all attempts were made” to treat the man, but “there was nothing that could be done and he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
A spokeswoman for Herts Air Ambulance confirmed that an air ambulance also attended the incident and landed on nearby parkland.
