A 21-year-old man has been charged for numerous driving offences after a high speed police chase in St Albans yesterday evening (Thursday).
Asadullah Muzaffar, of no fixed address, has been charged with driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, and dangerous driving this afternoon (Friday) after failing to stop in Watford at about 8pm yesterday.
He was chased by a police car at high speed through Watford, Bushey, onto the M1 and then into St Albans where he was stopped in King Harry Lane and arrested.
A police helicopter and the dog unit were also used to help track the driver.
Mr Muzaffar is due to appear at Hatfield Remand Court tomorrow morning (Saturday).
