Police hunt man who brandished knife outside St Albans nightclub

A man brandished a kitchen knife after being thrown out of a nightclub in St Albans this bank holiday.

The incident happened at about 2am outside Club Batchwood on May 27, after a man in his early 20s was in a fight inside the venue.

He had already been removed by security and was outside the venue when he walked up to another man, pulled out a kitchen knife, and ran towards the nearby golf course.

Firearm, dog unit, and National Police Air Service officers searched the area, but the offender was not found.

The man is described as mixed race with braided hair, was wearing a baseball cap, cream hoodie and green trousers, and had a black bag.
