A man in his 30s from St Albans was arrested after police found class A drugs during a search warrant.

Police entered a property in Howland Garth at around midday on Wednesday, July 25, carrying out a warrant under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

During the search a bag of suspected crack cocaine was found and a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of possessing the class A drugs with intent to supply.

He has been released under investigation while the police investigation continues.
