A MAN has been arrested following a suspected arson attack on a property while two children and their mother were inside.
The fire was started in a brick shed attached to the house in Five Acres, London Colney, on Sunday morning at around 9.35am.
Firefighters quickly got the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading into the house, although the shed was destroyed.
The family inside when the fire started escaped the uninjured.
A 31-year-old man from St Albans was later arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and he has been bailed until the end of July.
