FRUSTRATED motorists faced long traffic jams into and out of St Albans this morning because of a burst water main at the busy Ancient Briton junction.
Veolia Water Three Valleys are working to fix the problem but motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being.
Journeys from Harpenden into St Albans were taking as long as an hour because of the disruption.
