AN OVERNIGHT closure on the M25 will take place this weekend.
To facilitate work to widen the north-west section of the motorway, the anti-clockwise carriageway between junctions 22 (St Albans) and 21a (Bricket Wood) will be closed from 11pm on Saturday (January 8) and 6am on Sunday.
A signposted diversion will be in place from Junction 22 via the A1081 to the A414 (and M10 for access to the M1 northbound) and A405 to Junction 21a and to join the M1 southbound.
The Highways Agency will be installing gantries on the carriageway.
