OVERNIGHT lane closures will be in place on the M25 from tonight (Thursday).
The inside lane and hard shoulder in both directions between Junction 18 (Watford) and 16 (M40) will be closed overnight until Tuesday (May 26) for preparation for the impending widening works on the section.
This will affect drivers travelling between St Albans and Heathrow and Stansted Airports.
Narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50mph between Junctions 16 and 18 will operate 24 hours a day for 12 months from Wednesday May 27.
