WE'VE all heard about fairies at the bottom of the garden - but no-one mentioned helicopters!

However, that's what grandmother Mary Nelder found at the end of her 100-foot long garden.

Mrs Nelder (above) of Crown Street, Redbourn, said: "It's lucky I spotted it really. I thought it must be a Christmas present. I know these remote-controlled contraptions can fly quite a distance but I've put up notices round and about in the village with no takers."

The Dragonfly 2005 helicopter is about two feet wide and seems undamaged.

Anyone wanting to claim it should contact the Nelders on 01582 792907 providing proof of ownership.
