Highways England has warned motorists of congestion on the M25 between junctions 20 and 22 near St Albans after a lorry overturned early this morning.
The anti-clockwise carriageway was closed while the vehicle was removed and the lane cleared up, but all lanes are now open and the lorry has been recovered.
However, motorists can expect delays along this stretch until at least 11.30am.
Police attended the scene, and no serious injuries were reported.
Extensive barrier repairs will be needed.
